I have discovered DollDivine and I absolutely freaking LOVE it. They even had a section dedicated to Sailor Senshi, which of course, I went for. I decided to do this while on campus, with one of my friends watching over my shoulder the entire time. It was so funny because she brought up an interesting fact:

--"I don't get it! Usagi and Sailor Moon are IDENTICAL. How can people not know she's Sailor Moon?! EVEN HER STUPID BOYFRIEND DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS SAILOR MOON! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
It was so funny, because she talked about how Usagi and Mamoru (Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen (mask) respectively) had NO CLUE about the other's secret identity.  "Okay, fine, Usagi had an excuse because Mamoru wore a mask, cape, tuxedo and was fully decked out as Tuxedo Mask, BUT WHAT IS SHE, DEAF?! THEY EVEN SOUND THE SAME! Did she really think it was just a coincidence that her boyfriend and "that hot guy who throws roses" sounded IDENTICAL?!"

(She cracks me up.) But she also had a point. For the LONGEST time, Mamoru had no idea his rival-turned-greatest love was Usagi, who, let's face it, is SAILOR MOON IN COSTUME. They are mirror images except for certain traits. (The costume.) Clearly, Mamoru needed to get glasses if he couldn't see that Sailor Moon and Usagi were one in the same! They EVENTUALLY figured it out, (Thank God, lmao) but I thought, "Okay, if I were a Sailor Senshi, without a doubt, there would be a DRASTIC difference in between my normal self, and my Senshi self" in a way that would give people the mentality of: "Don't they look similar? Maybe....is it possible...? Nah, they are two totally different people!" but still leave room for, "What if....?" So, I spent my lunch creating a Sailor Senshi for kicks, but somehow, I ended up doing a completely different thing: I gave her a backstory, created other characters, and am currently working on a fanfic! This whole thing took on a life of its own, when originally, I did this simply to demonstrate that while my senshi self and my normal self DO have their differences, it wouldn't be obvious that I was a senshi. PS: They only had one sort of pose, so ignore that. Somewhere in between basing her off me and working on her backstory, she became a completely separate entity from me, which I actually like. She takes on a life of her own.)

Also: I'll DEFINITELY be making a fanfic for this.

~"Normal" Appearance~

Name: Shourai Yorugami (Her name is a combination of "Shourai", which means "Future", "Yoru", which means "Night", and "Gami", which means "god". Her first name, combined with her family name, basically means "Future Night God" or "Future God of the Night".)

Age: 21

Occupation: Student studying Cosmetology with a minor in Creative Writing. She attends the same college as Setsuna (Sailor Pluto) and is one of her few friends outside of the other Senshi. She works as a hostess (and since the story takes place in Tokyo, I am CLEARLY not talking about a hostess in a restaurant either) at Club Mangekyo (Kaleidoscope) in Shibuya.

Hobbies: Writing, ballet, kickboxing/mixed martial arts, sleeping, snacks, daydreaming, fashion, talking walks during rain storms, and at night when the stars are clear and visible.

Bio: Shourai's mother, Yume ("Dream"), was gifted with a beautiful voice, which was discovered at a young age by a famous recording label. When Yume was sixteen, and well settled into the life of a pop star idol, she met her future husband, Kazuto, who is a renowned fashion designer as well as photographer. They met during Yume's magazine interview where she was (unknowingly) modeling one of Kazuto's designs. Despite the age difference, (What with Yume being 16 and Kazuto being 24) they fell in love and got married just before Yume's seventeenth birthday. The couple lived happily together, loving life and each other. When Yume was eighteen, she became pregnant with Shourai. The couple celebrated the news of their unborn child and continued to live in bliss. Just three months before Yume was due, she and Kazuto visited Kyoto for a little rest and relaxation. During their stay at an inn, they went for a walk one night; the same night as a meteor shower. Upon seeing all of the beautiful shooting stars, Yume made a wish: that their child (the gender was unknown) would grow up and have a bright and happy future. The father suggested that they name the child (regardless of gender) after her wish for their child to have a bright and happy future (Shourai). The couple, being so moved by that moment, decided that they wanted to move to Kyoto to raise their family. They lived happily until the night Yume went into labor. That night, there was an unnatural phenomenon of both a meteor shower, as well as a total eclipse. However, that surprise failed in comparison to the fact that Yume had been pregnant with twins. This put her and her husband in an unfortunate circumstance; as unseen medical conditions interfered with both the birth and put her life at risk. The doctors explained that if she were to birth the twins, it would certainly be the end of her life. Yume told the doctors and her husband that her life was small, compared to the life of their child. Honoring his wife's wish that the child have a happy future, Kazuto allowed his wife to die, so that his children would be born. However, one of the twin daughters did not survive; the "oldest" twin in fact died, leaving behind a grieving father, with only one twin; the youngest. The daughter that lived was lovingly named Shourai. The doctors, however, said that at the very least, he give his dead daughter a name out of respect. Deep in grief, he named his daughter Datenshi—meaning "Fallen Angel". Kazuto slipped into depression, which he was quickly brought out of by the fact that he has to live his life for his Yume, Datenshi, and the one child who still needs him; Shourai. He soon becomes a loving, doting father and cherishes Shourai deeply, which people say improved the quality of his designs, as well as his photography.

Shourai is very much doted on by her father, who continues being one of the world's most prominent designers, and often uses Shourai as a model to show off his designs. Shourai, despite not having a mother, grew up happy, loving, and enjoying life, never knowing of her late sister Datenshi. Everything changed when Kazuto became very ill when Shourai turned fifteen with no reason as to why. Shourai later learned that her father was suffering from what could only be explained as "the Lovebird's Broken Heart": when one lovebird from a pair dies, the partner goes on mourning until eventually; it dies of a broken heart. Kazuto apologizes for not being able to be stronger for his daughter, and died shortly after she turned sixteen. Kazuto had many friends in the industry that gladly would have taken Shourai in, however, she chose to remain in Kyoto, at her family's home, and live off the money her father had left behind. Shourai, believing in the meaning of her name, continued living on, attending school, and trying to smile through the tears. She eventually graduated high school and made it to college on a scholarship—the very same college attended by Setsuna Meioh (aka, Sailor Pluto). Setsuna, being a loner herself, found herself drawn to Shourai; even their names seemed to both compliment and contrast one another, as Shourai meant "Future" while Setsuna meant "A fleeting moment". Shourai, also drawn to Setsuna, allowed herself Setsuna's company; she'd been alone for far too long, anyway. Shourai continued to open up and be more friendly after meeting Setsuna, who was both mature, and beautiful, but also sad as well. A few months after meeting Setsuna, Shourai began to have strange dreams that involved an image of a goddess-like version of herself…fighting with herself.  Unsure what to make of these dreams, she ignored them as best as she could until Setsuna, sensing there was something wrong, finally asked her about her dreams. It was then Setsuna understood why she was so drawn to Shourai; because Shourai was a force more powerful than even the beautiful, Sailor Moon. Setsuna revealed herself to Shourai, explaining her role as a Senshi, and that there were others just like her, and told Shourai she believed that she shared in their power, though it was different. With nothing else to lose—even though she wasn't sure she could believe her—she allowed Setsuna to unlock her memories from her past-life, as well as her ability to transform into the "Soldier Of Shadow", better known as, Kage no Magami Yoruhime.
Here is all of Shourai Yorugami's bio info. I'll get around to updating her alter ego, Sailor Yoruhime, very soon! Enjoy!
